Wike’s re-election: A choice for the people – Monarch

The Traditional Ruler of Ele Kingdom in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, King Felix Tamunoseipirila Okuru VII, has thrown his weight behind the re-election of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, describing it as a victory for people of the state and democracy.

While speaking with GbaramatuVoice in Port Harcourt, the capital of the state, King Okuru said that the winning was not a surprise to him because Wike was the choice of the residents.

The King said he was optimism that the governor would use the occasion of his second tenure to bombard the state with his numerous development projects.

The traditional ruler however enjoined the residents to give the governor the unflinching support, such that they gave to Wike during his re-election bid.
