[VIDEO] Girlfriends of ‘YAHOO BOYS’ protest against EFCC in Delta

A now-viral video has shown ladies believed to be girlfriends of Yahoo boys protesting against the incessant arrest of their boyfriends by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In the video posted by trending online, the ladies speaking in pidgin English called on the anti-graft agency to desist from disturbing their boyfriends.

“Make una leave our boyfriend for us o, na the same yahoo wey we take dey chop,” one of the protesters said.

The protest comes just a few days after men from the anti-graft agency raided Warri, one of Delta state’s most populous cities, arresting approximately 95 suspected internet fraudsters.

The EFCC under the leadership of Abdulrasheed Bawa has continued to clamp down on internet fraudsters.
