KACHIKWU

WARRI~National Association of Gbaramatu Students (NAGS) has described Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, Minister of State for Petroleum as a God sent to liberate the people of Niger Delta.

This was contained in a statement sent  to GbaramatuVoice Newspaper by the President of the Association Comr. Seiyefa Ekpemupolo. He reigns praises on Dr. Kachikwu for his rare steps towards the reinstatement of the Maritime University as he lauds his yesterday’s visit to the Kingdom as a very bold step in restoring peace in the Niger Delta.

He expressed confidence on the minister that if we have others like him who think positive about our region, then we would not have been in this level that we are today, he however prayed that God should imbue him with wisdom and the political strength to grapple with the day to day challenges in areas related to his office especially with the reinstatement of the Maritime University.

He further added that the Minister have in recent times demonstrated his love for the Niger Delta Region especially the Ijaws as this was made manifest as he openly opposed the Minister of Transport Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi in the town hall meeting at Uyo. As today in what appears to be a follow up to that statement he is here in Gbaramatu to get on -the spot assessment of the structures on ground.
