Truck driver praised for saving Lives, property in Delta state

A truck driver identified as Mr. Ejiro Otarigho, has been hailed a hero after he risked his life to drive a burning truck out of a residential area in Agbarho town, Ughelli North LGA, Delta state.

The man’s bravery apparently averted what would have destroyed lives and property in Agbarho town.

Sharing the heroic story on Facebook, the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Government, Agba Abraham, confirmed that the driver is hail and hearty amid swimming in the inferno.

Agba Abraham wrote: “This truck driver, Mr. Ejiro Otarigho, deserves a national honour for averting a national disaster that would have destroyed lives and property in Agbarho Town, Ughelli North LGA. See how the driver risked his life to divert the truck from town to save the environment. I urge relevant authorities, both national and state, to act. I have spoken to Mr. Ejiro; he is safe and healthy.

“I just spoke with the heroic driver, Mr. Ejiro Otarigho, he is hail and hearty. Let’s continue to share this post until relevant agencies act.”
