Tompolo distances self from viral video, says he made no comments about 2023 Presidential election outcome 

The former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo has denied making any comments about the outcome of the 2023 Presidential election in an alleged online viral video wherein he was quoted to have hailed the outcome of the election.

Tompolo, who is also the Ijaw Peace ambassador made this known via a statement signed by his Media Consultant, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, and made available to GbaramatuVoice in Warri Delta state.

According to the statement, Tompolo did not do any video of any sort and has not said anything on the outcome of the Presidential election.

While noting that Chief Tompolo is not an enemy to any of the Presidential candidates as well as the governorship candidates, but a friend to all, Dr . Bebenimibo added that the former activist has not asked anyone to use his name to campaign for any of the candidates.

He therefore, advised that the general public beware of characters that are out there to smear his name.

Tompolo’s alleged viral video on the 2023 general election is fake.

The attention of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo has been drawn to an alleged viral video on the 2023 general election, where some online media quoted him to have hailed the outcome of the election. For the avoidance of doubt, Tompolo did not do any video of any sort. Tompolo has not said anything on the outcome of the Presidential election.

He is not an enemy to any of the Presidential candidates as well as the governorship candidates. He is a friend to all. And so, he has not asked anyone to use his name to campaign for any of the candidates. The general public should beware of characters that are out there to smear his name.
