Tell Your Officials To Promote Peace Not Criminality, Egbema Group Tells Okowa

•We appreciate your good work but…

An Ijaw group, the Coalition for Peace Promoters of Egbema has called the Executive Governor of Delta State, Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, to call his officials to order who are using their position in his administration to promote criminality in Egbema kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area.

The group stated this in a release signed today by their President Mr. Wari-ebi Goodluck and made available to GbaramatuVoice.

According to the group, “The kingdom appreciates the good work your government is doing in Delta State, but on the other hand, some high profiled government officials in your government are promoting criminality in Egbema Kingdom.

“We are using this medium to call on our amiable governor, His Excellency, Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa to call some of his top government officials to order.

Such attitude according to the group is bringing the name of the kingdom to bad light and the state at large and is threatening the peace process in the kingdom.

“We therefore, call on the governor to caution these high profiled government officials to stay clear of our kingdom in order not to drag the name of the kingdom and your government of the day to the mud,” the group stated.
