Tell your Juju to come and see me, Wike dares Rivers Juju men

By Our Correspondent

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has warned those building what he described as ‘shrines’ along the Sakpenwa-Bori-Kono road, in order to get compensation from the government to desist from such act as they will not get a dime.

Wike disclosed this during the flag off ceremony of the road on Friday, in the company of leaders of the area.

The Governor, wondered why residents of the area who have been calling for construction of the road, are now trying to scare contractors away.

He advised those in the act to direct their deities to come and see him, as none of them will get any amount from the government.

“Those of you putting up fake juju shrines along the road we are constructing to get compensation from the government, let me tell you, shishi you won’t get. Nobody will give you one Naira,” he said.

“Can you imagine, you say you want projects but you want to scare the contractor by decorating fake shrines along the construction site, fa fa fa, foul. It will not work. Tell your juju to come and see me,” the Governor added.
