Sheriff Mulade Peace & Unity Cup set to screen 16 registered teams Nov. 7

The Local Organizing Committee LOC, of the popular grassroots and ethnic coexistence peace building football tournament, otherwise known as Comrade Mulade Sheriff Peace and Unity Cup, has fixed Thursday November 7, at 9am, for the screening of players registered for the tournament, and also to draw the fixtures for the 16 Communities/Teams that have duly registered for the tournament.

A statement signed by the LOC’s Media and Publicity Committee Chairman, Mr. Azuka Chiemeka says this is the most crucial aspect of the football fiesta, therefore any Team/Community that fails to participate in the screening risks being disqualified, while every registered Team or Community must appear with all its Players, Coach and Technical Team for the screening on the stated date.

The statement names the communities registered for the Mulade Sheriff Peace and Unity Cup, as follows 1: Benikrukru, 2: Ugborodo, 3: Oporoza, 4: Madangho, 5: Okerenkoko, 6: Ugbegungun, 7: Opuedebubor, 8:: Bateren, 9: Kunukunuma, 10: Agogboro, 11: Ajudaibo.

Others are 12: Kokodiagbene, 13:  Ijaghala, 14: Teibejor, 15:. Ogedigben, 16: Kurutie.

The LOC says football scouts will be on ground to discover and select talented players for the Delta State League as well as for the Nigeria Premier League. The LOC congratulates all teams ahead of the 2019 edition of the peace and unity football cup, which is expected to be a successful tournament.
