Security Challenges: Pray often for God’s intervention – Okowa

The Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has charged Christians to be steadfast in prayers to spur God’s intervention on security challenges in the country.

Okowa bared this notion at the 2nd session of the 7th Synod of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) at St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, Oleh, Delta State, where he was represented by his Deputy, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro.

“The indices on security, development, gross domestic product and planning are not favourable. With redoubled prayers, God can positively rewrite the security and development narrative of Nigeria,” Okowa said.

The governor however appreciated the support the church has been giving the Delta State Government, and asked the church not to relent in being the change agent the people need.
