Late Rev. Tolar set to be buried on Friday

All is now set for the burial of popular Ijaw clergyman, Rev. Ikem Clever Tolar, known for his gospel missions throughout Niger Delta riverine communities.

The family of the late grand patron of Ijaw Christian Fellowship (ICF) and pioneer chairman, Egbema-Gbaramatu Communities  Development Foundation (EGCDF), Rev. (Dr.) Ikem Clever Tolar on Thursday Nov. 19th announced Friday, November 27, 2020 as the date for his burial.

In a statement signed by Rev. Joseph Ari (for the family) and Mr. Jude Tolar (for the children), the family stated that his body would be interred at his hometown, Kokodiagbene, Gbaramatu kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

“With total submission to the will of God for a life well spent, the families of Late Pa Michael Tolar Ari of Ugeh Quarters and Ebikeme of Agugu Quarters both of Kokodiagbene town in Gbaramatu kingdom, Delta State, hereby announce the transition of their son, husband, father and grandfather, Rev. Dr. Ikem Clever Tolar, who passed unto eternal glory, June 29, 2020 at the age of 75.

“On Tuesday 24 November, 2020: Service of Songs at NPA Housing Estate, Airport road, Warri by 4:00pm.

According to the statement , on Friday November 27, body leaves Veenell Hospital Mortuary Warri via Miller Waterside to Kokodiagbene town in Gbaramatu kingdom for Funeral Service and internment.

He is survived by wife, five children, four son in-laws, one daughter in-law and 18 grand children and relatives.

“The public should please treat this public announcement as a formal invitation to the burial,” the statement added.
