REORGANIZE YOURSELVES WITHIN TWO WEEKS OR FACE OUR BOMBARDMENT, MILITANT GROUP TELLS CHEVRON/NPDC

*Welcomes Military to the Niger Delta Creeks

There seems to be more confusion in the Niger Delta region as a militant group identified as the Asawana Deadly Force of Niger Delta have warned Chevron and NPDC Operating in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State to reorganize themselves by empowering the Youths within two weeks or faces hostility.

The group gave the warning in a Press statement issued by Commander Olomubini Kakarakokoro, a.k.a “No Mercy” today while calling on multinational oil companies operating within the Niger Delta territory to aggressively develop the region.

The statement also welcome the Nigerian Military to the Niger Delta creeks in their ongoing “Operation Crocodile Smile ” noting that no amount of military might will derail its resolve for self determination and resource control.

According to Kakarakokoro who alleged that the warning was occasioned by the age long marginalization, neglect and deprivation meted out on its people while reiterating that it should not be seen as a mere threat.

It read “The ASAWANA Deadly Force of Niger Delta wishes to inform the Federal Republic of Nigeria that our attention has been shifted to Chevron Nigeria Limited. Because of their role in the marginalisation of oil producing communities especially in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Delta State.

“The Asawana Deadly Force of Niger Delta have decided to shut all Chevron/NPDC facilities operating in these mentioned part of the region.”

Adding that “We give Chevron /NPDC two weeks to reorganise themselves, empower the youths and develop the region. We shall bomb all Facilities when this given time expires. This is not a mere threat. The high command of the Asawana Deadly force of Niger Delta also want to use this medium to welcome the arm forces of Nigeria “Crocodile Smile ” to the creeks of Niger Delta,we wish you all a very happy vacation but parading military equipments and armored tanks will not stop our fight for self determination and resource control.

“Intimidation and suppression cannot wish away the decades of marginalisation and exploitation.”
