In what could be described as sterling milestone, Prince of Ogulagha kingdom, Milonia Timiyan, on Friday May 26, 2023, bagged a doctor of philosophy (PhD) from the prestigious Alliant International University, San Diego, California, United States of America (USA)

The 30-year-old Prince Milonia is one of the sons of Elder (Capt.) Dr. Joseph I. Timiyan (JP), the King of the great Ogulagha Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area and Chairman of Delta State Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum.

Also adding colour to the celebration is the fact that Milonia demonstrated resounding performance in his scholarly research while breaking new grounds in critical areas strategic of business endavours supported with ample positive research outcomes that will pave the way for future scholars and researchers.

Before enrolling as a doctoral candidate, Prince Milonia Timiyan had earlier earned his first degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the Western Delta University, Oghara, Delta state, where he emerged as one of the best graduating students in his set.

Not done with his scholarly quest and burning desire to hit the zenith of his academic voyage, he enrolled for his post degree (masters programme) at the Fairfax University of America, Fairfax, Virginia, where he also graduated at a record time and with outstanding grades.

GbaramatuVoice gathered the latest academic feat achieved by the young Prince Milonia did not come by surprise as he holds a very long standing record of intelligence and had sustainably demonstrated singleness of purpose in his academic pursuit.

The newspaper further gathered that academic excellence flows in their family as his father, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom is equally an ‘academic lion’ a PhD holder and one of the best trained and quietly influential traditional ruler in Niger Delta region.
