PDP plots APC downfall in Gbaramatu Kingdom, as party youth leaders meet in Okerenkoko Monday 

…Says Gbaramatu kingdom is PDP stronghold

Ahead of the February 25 presidential election in the country, Okerenkoko Federated PDP Youth, a political pressure group within the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state, has announced its plan to hold a mega townhall meeting on Monday, February 20, at Okerenkoko Civic Center, Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of the state.

GbaramatuVoice writes that the planned mega townhall meeting which is slated to hold at the Delta state’s Deputy Governor’s hometown, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro, is not unconnected with the forthcoming Saturday February 25, presidential and national assembly elections in the country.

Comrade Seiyefa Ekpemupolo, who spoke with GbaramatuVoice explained that the meeting which will have in attendance various party youths leaders, is geared towards mapping out strategies that will assist see to the final demise of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the community and Gbaramatu kingdom by extension.

In his words; “APC as a party has, in recent time made some flashes and feeble inroads into Gbaramatu kingdom. And part of the reason for this mega meeting is to come up with both strategies and tactics sustainable enough to render such inroads as effort in futility. Gbaramatu Kingdom is PDP stronghold and we shall not allow the party of fugitives to take over it.

“By this planned meeting, we are announcing the final burial of APC in Gbaramatu kingdom and we shall use its own broom to sweep its footprint from the surface of the kingdom’’. He concluded.

GbaramatuVoice also gathered that a series of similar meetings aimed at stamping APC out of the kingdom has in recent time been held in various communities within the kingdom.

Recall that Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, a Nigerian politician, lawyer, businessman and current Deputy Governor of Delta State, hails from Okerenkoko, one of the major communities that made up the great Gbaramatu Kingdom.
