PAP Administrator Otuaro Makes Courtesy Call on SGF Akume in Abuja

Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, CON, graciously welcomed Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD, the newly appointed Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), during a meeting at his office in Abuja on Friday. This gathering marked the inception of significant initiatives aimed at revitalizing the program, with a dedicated focus on enhancing its effectiveness in the Niger Delta region.

Chief Otuaro, in his address, reiterated his steadfast commitment to rejuvenating the Presidential Amnesty Programme, emphasizing the imperative of addressing youth restiveness in the Niger Delta and ensuring the program’s fulfillment of its mandate, particularly in the disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration (DDR) of former agitators.
