Okowa has failed Deltans with his visionless administration – Ebikeme, DG, Contact and Mobilisation, Omo-Agege Campaign Council

…Says Delta among highest beneficiaries of Federal Allocations, 13% derivation without traceable development

…Assures that Omo-Agege will re-position the state, guarantee all-round growth and sustainable development

The Director General, Contact and Mobilisation of the Ovie Omo-Agege Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bosin Ebikeme, has said that the governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has failed Deltans, describing his leadership as visionless.

Ebikeme disclosed this on Wednesday while appreciating Deltans for their massive turnout in the official flag-off of the Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaigns of the APC at Warri Township Stadium on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

He lamented that Delta State is one of the richest states in the country that has not lived up to its expectations in the comity of states.

According to Barr. Ebikeme, the state is one of the highest beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s Revenue Allocation and the 13% Derivation Fund which accrues to Delta State as oil revenue.

He added that despite the abundance of these resources both human and material terms, the government has not been able to effectively harness it to the state’s advantage.

While he describes Okowa’s administration in the state as “visionless”, nepotistic and rudderless”, the Legal luminary further stated that the current administration in the state has as its hallmark; unbridled corrupt tendencies, selfish and vindictive style of governance, sly, insincere and sadistic management of the State’s resources.

Chief Ebikeme remarked that this is the sad and unfortunate state of affairs of Deltans since the past seven years of the Okowa’s government.

He rues the unfortunate experiences of the people as it concerns project conceptualization and their shoddy implementation by the Okowa’s government which is not in any way commensurate to the huge resources flowing into the State, and submitted that in Okowa’s desperate bid to cover up his tracks of ineptitude and humongous corruption and indeed perpetuate his lootocracy beyond 2023, Okowa has cloned himself in a puppet, Sheriff Oborevwori, whom he has been using to plunder the State to stupor for the past seven years.

Ebikeme also accused Okowa of squandering the State resources to foist a third term agenda on Deltans as well as promoting the reputed lootoctrat, Dubai-based Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to the Presidency of this great nation.

He stated that this is unacceptable to all well-meaning Deltans, and therefore, called on the people to resist and reject this evil agenda of Okowa by joining hands to vote out the PDP at the 2023 general elections.

He canvassed that this action has become urgent and necessary in order to save and secure the future of our dearly beloved Delta State and the future of Nigeria in general.

The former Commissioner for Transport in the state therefore assured Deltans that voting and making Obarisi Senator OVIE OMO-AGEGE (DSP) as Governor come 2023 will position the State to a better platform to guarantee real all-round growth and sustainable development for the people.

He also called on the people to vote for all the Candidates of the APC in all the elections and particularly encouraged Deltans to vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of the Universe, a man that is tested and trusted, as President so that we can have a seamless governance from the State to the Federal levels.

He concluded by saying that VOTING FOR APC in the 2023 general elections is the best decision for Deltans.
