By Success Yanki & Ruth Oromoni

Non-Governmental Organisations, Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation and Value Orientation Initiatives, on Wednesday distributed some educational materials to the pupils of Igbuku Primary School, Igbuku-Orogun in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The NGOs during the one-day leadership seminar with the theme; The rise of positive influencers, called on the Delta State Government to provide basic amenities for schools in rural areas, such as teachers and other important facilities.

Deacon Ernest Bebenimibo, Founder of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation, said the rational and core objective of the project is to teach the pupils that  tomorrow will be better as long as they strive to be better everyday.

While he urged parents to allow their children to attend classes and not going to farms during school hours.

Senior Special Adviser to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the Deputy President of Senate On Constituency Matters, Comrade Chuks Erhire, appreciated EBF team for the wonderful initiative and presentation of gifts for the pupils.

While speaking on the major challenges faced by the school mentioned their grievances as the school has just the headmistress and one official teacher from the government.

He also used the opportunity to call on the government to provide amenities for the students, such as teachers and financial aids in order to make sure the students are well equipped for the future as they are leaders of tomorrow.

The team, which was led by the President of the EBF Foundation, Deacon Ernest Bebenimibo, has the following persons in his entourage, Deacon Ossai Darlington Ogaga, Director General, Hon. Ogolo Emmanuel, Deputy Majority Leader Udu Legislative Arm, Hon.
