GBARAMATU VOICE 2ND ANNIVERSARY HOLDS AUGUST 8

Gbaramatu Voice Newspaper is set to celebrate her 2nd year anniversary, August 8 in Abuja.

A statement by Mr. Jacob Abai, Publisher of the tabloid in Warri says the anniversary is expected to see guests through a symposium titled ‘Role of the Media in Securing the Niger Delta for National Development.’

He further stated that awards shall be given to some personalities who have made landmark achievements in their chosen endeavours.

According to him, reason for celebrating the anniversary in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja was to give the formerly regional Newspaper a national look and wider coverage.

The Publisher stated that Gbaramatu Voice Newspaper was purposely established in 2015 to cater for newsmaking events in the South South, particularly the waterfront, with a view to exposing happenings in the region to the outside world.

He said though the tabloid was initially commissioned  to  cater for newsmaking events in the South South, by being first to break the news from the region, particularly the creeks, it has travelled beyond the region, adding that the paper has become a household name that is most sought after by people of the South South.

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, Business moguls, politicians, Traditional rulers, Chief Executive Officers of oil companies, and other dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion.

While promising to service the general public better with unbias news stories, the publisher thanked God, supporters and readers for standing by the tabloid in the past years, promising that the paper would not led them down.
