The National Association of Gbaramatu Students (NAGS) is set to hold its 5th national election cum convention.

In a statement jointly signed by the Convention Planning Committee Chairman, Barr. Friday Emotimide and President of NAGS, Comrade Freeborn Abraye, the convention was billed to hold at the Okerenkoko Community Townhall, Okerenkoko, Gbaramatu kingdom, Delta state on Wednesday August 24.

The decision was reached following a meeting with NAGS leaders and stakeholders on the transition process of the association.

“This year’s convention promises to be a spectacular one, with lots of intriguing activities, ranging from lectures from well experienced speakers, scintillating performances from talented dancers, singers and comedians, with a spice of fun filled sporting activities,” the statement read.

The statement urged all electorates (Gbaramatu students only), to come with their admission letter or school identification card in order to vote for their preferred candidates in the elections.

The statement further revealed that the 5-man Local Organising Committee (LOC) has Friday Emotimide as Chairman; Ebila Pondi, Secretary; Kingsley Egbejule; Gloria Timiyan and Simon Timodi.
