Congratulations to New Executives of IYC – Gbaramatu Clan IYC

The Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Gbaramatu Clan has on Saturday, sent congratulatory message to the council’s newly elected President, Timothy Peter Igbifa.

The message was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman, Ijaw Youth Council, Gbaramatu clan, Peter Pudie.

According to the statement, “all set and dawn, the will of God was done and the voices of our esteemed delegates have spoken.

“It is with much delight that, we the Ijaw Youth Council, Gbaramatu Clan congratulate Timothy Peter Igbifa on his emergence as the newly elected President of our great Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Worldwide to lead us to our self determination and resource control mandate.

“As host of the just concluded election of the great Ijaw Youth Council, we want to appreciate, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo), all our founding fathers, past presidents, stakeholders and the election committee for the peaceful, free and fair election in Oporoza, Gbaramatu kingdom.

“We also want to thank Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, for his fatherly role played in the just concluded election. We are grateful.

“We fully realise that the 8th IYC newly elected National Executive is there to execute the will of the Ijaw Youth Council, Worldwide for the greater good of Ijaw nation. We urge the new national exco to carry all the kingdom along in the discharge of their duty and the unity of Ijaw nation Worldwide.

“Congratulations to The New Executives of Ijaw Youth Council, Worldwide,” the statement added
