My wishful thought for King Alfred Izon-ebi on his 20-May-2023 birthday

Happy birthday to a man strikingly and undilutedly different in thought, talent, communicativeness, behavioural comportment and compositional approaches to music, yet no supercilious self-agrandising theatrics and attempts at intensification of his compositional otherness – an otherness that graphologically foregrounds his magical compositional and stage-performance visibility like a golden eagle perched on the peak of a tower though without a trace of antagonism disdainfully displayed towards other birds that come to perch on the tower.

This is the talented highlife musician who dexterously and inspirationally varies his instrumental and thematic approaches to his musical compositions with every new song – as can be seen in his latest ‘AMASEIKUMOR’ song – yet intriguingly located within the radius of his old-Ijaw-song REVIVALISM Movement that sees to his ceaseless revivalist reincarnation of late Birifou,Kuro-endi,Ball-ere,Binta and many others in his widely applauded musical compositions.

Again, happy birthday to King Alfred Izonebi whose preferred ‘JKINGSHIP’ in music tells another enigmatic story within a known story that only goes to immortalise King Robert Ebizimor’s chosen coronation for him…This is that distinct musician who has deployed his music talent to tell the world that he actually loves Ekanpou Enewaridideke unconditionally in verifiable reciprocal terms.
