Matthew Tonlagha pays glowing tribute to his late father who died 25 years ago

A Nigerian oil mogul and the Executive Director of Fenog Nigeria Limited, Matthew Tonlagha, on Monday, November 8, remembers his late dad, Sgt. Roland Oweigha Imoun Tonlagha, who passed away twenty five years ago, GbaramatuVoice reports.

Sharing a photo of his late dad on WhatsApp, Tonlagha wrote: “Today makes it 25 years my dad left us. He will always be in our hearts. May God continue to grant him eternal rest.”

Sgt. Tonlagha, who was a retired military officer, died on Thursday November 7, 1996. He hails from Benikrukru Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State.

Late Sgt. Tonlagha was an elder statesman, prominent leader and excellent human being who related well with everyone who came in contact with him. He served the Nigerian Army diligently, professionally, responsively and in other spheres of life.

In his lifetime, he was a committed father who inculcated the virtues of hard work and dedication in his children as can be seen in what Matthew Tonlagha has become today.

He was also very committed to charity. These are just few reasons why, after 25 years, he is still missed.

May his soul continue to rest in peace.
