By Ebi Perekeme

The Okerenkoko Federated Community executive led by Hon. Kingsley Oturubo in Gbaramatu kingdom on Thursday donated food items and other essential commodities to members of the community as their contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic engulfing global communities.

Presenting the items to the community, Oturubo, said the commodities include bags of rice and gallons of palm oil.

He told GbaramatuVoice in Warri that the donation was part of the executive efforts to support members of the community at this trying period of Coronavirus pandemic.

He said that their aim was to provide succour to the people of Okerenkoko in order to see them through any hardship that might be caused by the government’s directive of stay-at-home.

According to him, some people cannot eat daily without going out to do fishing. The support package will help them to survive the hardships created by this lockdown by the Delta State Government.
