Kunukunuma community endorses Bebenimibo led executive for another tenure

…I will carry everybody along, says Bebenimibo

Stakeholders in Kunukunuma Federated Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom have endorsed the Chief Moses Bebenimibo led executive to pilot the affairs of the community for another three years.

In a press statement made available to GbaramatuVoice and signed for the community by Chief Clark Gbenewei (the Tubainghanwei of Gbarematu Kingdom); Clement Aruwei (Amadiwei of Kunukunuma); Phillip Tortor; (Elder) Benard Okirika (Youth President) and Mrs. Perejei Torboebika (Woman Leader), the stakeholders stated inter alia that “this present executive, led by Chief Moses Bebenimibo was elected into power to pilot the affairs of this great community on the 19th day of December 2015, and on that day they presented this three point cardinal agenda to the community on which we all agreed to elect them into power. To help eradicate illiteracy in our community; to stop people from encroaching on our land and to make us understand the power of unity.

“On this platform we believe and give them our consent to lead this great community for the past three whole years, despite the fact that some of us were doubting the credibility of what they will do, because the executive were more of youth, but today they have prove to us beyond our wildest imagination. 

“On behalf of the whole community, we passed vote of confidence and announce to you that we are satisfied with your performance, having said that we have unanimously agree that today the 14th of November 2018 to re-instate this present executive to continue for another three years to do those good works they are yet to complete and to enable them complete their good works.

“Secondly, you must bear in mind that on this second tenure you must correct every error made in past and take everyone along, and give decorum to everyone who call and want to speak or report to you at all times as the executive of this great community,” the stakeholders stated. 

Responding Chief Moses Bebenimibo expressed his appreciation to the whole community for reappointing and giving his team this opportunity and privileges to serve for another three years tenure.

He promised to carry everyone along, and said he will correct all the areas he disappointed and failed during the previous tenure, and be selfless to do those things that will only bring progress, unity and peace to the people of Kunukunuma Federated Community.
