Kokodiagbene Community To Inaugurate New Excos On Thursday

The people of oil-rich Kokodiagbene community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state, will on Thursday February 15, 2018, perform the inauguration/swear-in ceremony of their newly-appointed executives.

The ceremony  is billed to hold at the Kokodiagbene Community Town Hall,  at 11:00am under the Chairmanship of the Commissioner representing the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC.

Community leaders and other special dignitaries are expected to grace the ceremony.

The Royal Father of the day would be His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom; while the Father and Spiritual Father of the day are Chief (Dr) J. G. B Ari (JP) and Rev. Dr. I. C. Tolar, respectively.

The Guests of Honour expected at the ceremony are Chief (Barr) Bosin Ebikeme, Special Adviser on Petroleum Matters to the Delta State Government; Comr. Jude Ukori, Chairman of Egbema-Gbaramatu  Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF) among others.

Pa Thompson Seiwei, the Amaokusuwei of Kokodiagbene community, is the Chief Host; while Engr. George Timiyan and Mrs Ati Odafe are the Chairman and Secretary of the Planning Committee, respectively.

It would be recalled that the former Chairman of Kokodiagbene community, Comr. Sheriff Mulade and his executives stepped down after the completion of their tenure, thereby paving way for an election that was held January 13, 2018, in which the newly executives emerged.
