IYC Lagos chapter releases list of candidates cleared for Saturday’s election

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Lagos Chapter, has released the list of candidates cleared by its ELECO committee for the Saturday, 11 June election expected to produce the chapter’s executive in the South West region.

A release, signed by the Electoral Committee Chairman, Tonye ThankGod, and obtained by GbaramatuVoice on Friday night, indicated that Arigban Tikima, Egbelu Bright, Kasikoro Emotongha and Ododomu Dorbrah, would contest the chairmanship position.

The release also stated that Gibson Isoboye and Ngeri Ibifaka Winifred, had been cleared to contest the position of the Vice Chairman.

Others are, Abel Odu (Secretary); Ijah Ugbana Patrick (Asst Secretary); Bobmanuel Peter Young (Information Officer); Ajagbini Samuel (Financial Secretary); Jack Sotonye Betty and Mpakaboari Ibitoroko (Treasurer).

The committees also cleared Desmond and Sippo Raphael for the position of Mobilization Officer, while Akodakpo Marian and Nathan Iwekumo, woman leader and Animadu Precious, Student Reps.

The election will take place at the Basketball Court, Nigerian Navy Barrack, Mobil Road, Apapa, Lagos by 10 a.m prompt.
