EDUCATION: ENCOMIUM AS TOMPOLO FOUNDATION GIVES SCHOLARSHIPS TO GBARAMATU FIRST CLASS GRADUATES OF BIU

•Beneficiaries to choose any country of their choice

There have been wild jubilation in Ijaw land particularly Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State as the Tompolo Foundation gives scholarships to five students of the Kingdom that graduated with a First Class Honours degree at the 12th convocation ceremony during the  weekend at the Benson Idahosa University (BIU), Benin City, Edo State.

It was gathered that out of the total number of 902 graduating students of the Institution during the 12th convocation ceremony which records as the highest graduating set since the establishment of the institution also saw over 200 Students from the Gbaramatu enclave graduating in different fields of study.

Basking in the euphoria of happiness and overjoyed at the academic excellence exhibited by the students of Gbaramatu Kingdom, the Tompolo Foundation magnanimously splashes scholarships to the first class products.

This was made known to newsmen through a press release by the Foundation’s secretary Mr. Paul Bebenimibo.

“In view of the Benson Idaghosa University 12th Convocation Ceremony that took place at the Campus during the weekend in Benin city, Edo State which saw 5 students from the Gbaramatu enclave recording First Class Honours and over 200 graduating.

“The Tompolo foundation that is highly committed in promoting education in the Kingdom and Ijaw nation in general have deemed it fit to offer scholarships to the 5 First Class products of the University to further their Education in any Country in the World of their Choice.

“Congratulations to all the graduates of the Kingdom and the First Class Products.

“Once again congrats for your scholarships as you choose any country of your choice.” the statement asserted.
