Chieftancy Title: Pondi Thanks Paramount Ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom

Double Chief Kestin Pondi, the new Dikeremowei of Ogulagha kingdom paying homage to the Paramount Ruler of Ogulagha kingdom.

The Ibe-benemowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Double Chief Kestin Pondi, has expressed profuse gratitude to the Paramount Ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom, HRM, Elder (Capt.) King Joseph Timiyan (JP), Torububor I, Agbonu, for conferring on him the traditional chieftaincy title of the Dikeremowei of Ogulagha Kingdom.

Chief Pondi’s words of gratitude to the paramount ruler were contained in a release personally signed by him dated Wednesday Nov. 18 and made available to GbaramatuVoice in Warri, Delta state.

Pondi said “I, Chief Kestin Pondi, the Ibe-benemowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and the Dikeremowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, on behalf of my family, friends and associates expressed my profuse thanks and gratitude to the paramount ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom, HRM, Elder (Capt.) King Joseph I. Timiyan (JP), Torububor I, Agbonu, The Ebenanawei of Ogulagha Kingdom and Chairman of Delta State Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum, on the confirmation of the title, “Dikeremowei of Ogulagha Kingdom” on me, on the occasion of  your 15th coronation anniversary. 

“Sir, I wish to assure you that, I will continue to contribute my quota to the development of our great Kingdom, and will not betray the trust you reposed on me. Thank you very much and once again congratulations on the successful celebration of your 15th coronation anniversary sir.”

In similar vein, the new Dikeremowei of Ogulagha Kingdom also expressed sincere appreciation to his family, friends and well-wishers for the unalloyed support given to him in this period. 

While promising to use his new title/recognition to work for the development of the kingdom, he however, enjoined all sons and daughters of the community to support the visionary and creative leadership of HRM, Elder (Capt.) King Joseph I. Timiyan (JP), Torububor I, Agbonu, and the Paramount Ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom.
