2020 IYC election: Wuruyai receives royal blessing

One of the leading aspirants for the office of the National Secretary of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Comrade Godswill Doubra Wuruyai, has received royal blessing from the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, His Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, at his palace in Oporoza town, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Comrade Wuruyai, who visited the monarch in company of his entourage, said it became necessary for him to visit his own royal father (Agadagba) to receive royal blessings.

He was welcomed to the palace by the Ibenemowei of Gbaramatu kingdom, High Chief Kestin Pondi.

Oboro-Gbaraun II prayed for the aspirant to succeed in his ambition.

Present at the Pere’s palace include High Chief Godspower Gbenekama (JP); High Chief Clark Gbenewei, Tubainghanwei of Gbaramatu kingdom and other respectable chiefs of the kingdom.
