Ijaw students honour EGCDF chairman, Ukori

In recognition of his contribution toward academic excellence in the Niger Delta region, the National Association of Delta Ijaw Students (NADIS), have hounored the Executive Chairman, Egbema-Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF), Jude Ebitimi Ukori.

The association commended his relentless efforts towards ensuring that students in the community are given opportunities to further their studies.

The students presented a meritorious award to him at the Foundation’s secretariat in Warri, Delta state.

While presenting the award on behalf of the group, its president, Collins Otuurubo, said they carefully looked through their records before they decided to pick Comrade Jude Ukori as the recipient of the award, and it is their hope and expectation that the award will propel and spur him to do more.

He also commend the Foundation for it’s consistency in the payment of scholarship beneficiaries which cuts across Egbema and Gbaramatu Communities, stressing that it has made life easy for the students.

Amb. Jude E. Ukori appreciated the Students body to deem it fit to honour him with the award, stressing that it is not for him alone but the Foundation as well.

Also, a member of the Egbema-Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation, Chief David Bubor, was awarded with Peace Advocate United Nation Polac Award by United Nation Polac.
