IJAW BEAUTY QUEEN, CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY WITH ORPHANS

  • Appeals to well meaning Ijaws to actualize her dreams

WARRI – The reigning beauty queen of Ijaw, Miss Gesibena Endakwe have on Thursday celebrated her birthday with orphans at the St. Ann’s Orphanage Home in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State as she presents gifts and other items to mark her birthday.

Gesibena, who emerged winner of the Miss Ijaw worldwide beauty pageant in Lagos, said she usually experience innermost elation whenever her engagement with orphans makes them happy.

In a sharp reaction, the orphans asked Miss Gesibena to kneel for special prayers as they prayed for God to grant Miss Ijaw, her heart desires and to meet her at every point of her needs.

Meanwhile, the Rev. Sister in charge of the orphanage home, Mary and her staff, welcomed her with the gifts she brought and thanked Gesibena and her team for identifying with the children of St Ann’s orphanage home and prayed to God to remember her too.

Miss Ijaw said, though her tenure ends in 2017, she has many laudable projects to embark on before she leaves the throne.

Queen Gesibena, while addressing the media, after thanking the grand patron of NAIFS and coordinator of IMG, Comrade Joseph Evah for his immense support also appeals to well meaning Ijaw leaders to help in actualizing her dreams.
