I Must Continue To Empower My People, Despite My 14 Months Unjust Incarceration – General Adowei, Ex-Militant Leader

•FG Should Dialogue With Tompolo – Frank Ekpemupolo

A renowned Niger Delta freedom fighter, General Freedom Adowei Binaebi have declared that his unjust victimization and subsequent incarceration for 14 months will not deter or make him change his resolve to develop his community and empower his people.

Adowei Binaebi spoke recently through his Media Assistant, Comr. Frank Ekpemupolo in Warri, Delta State while briefing newsmen on the developmental strides of the former agitator.

According to him, “General Adowei is currently undergoing extrajudicial punishment in the creek occasioned by his being a follower of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, whose charges were politically motivated. That was the only offense he committed which formed the reason for his persecution.”

Going philosophical, Ekpemupolo pointed out that his principal’s being off the scene is more of a blessing to him because it has given him a better view of his perceived enemies.

Continuing, the media specialist described Gen. Freedom Adowei Binaebi as a philanthropist of international repute who has touched and affected many lives positively in the Niger Delta.

He further explained that the much-touted case against High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo is malicious and politically motivated.

“It is a war against Tompolo, a non-state actor, whose self-funded foundation; Tompolo Foundation, has provided assistance to vulnerable groups like children, widows, and widowers. I therefore urged the Federal Government to withdraw the purported arrest warrant against Tompolo.”

In the same manner, he appealed to the Niger Deltans to be relentless in their prayers to Woyin (our creator) for the actualization of a better future for the people of the region.

To demonstrate their rock-solid resolves, Comr. Frank declared that the people of the region will do everything within their power to protect their hero, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo while adding that the death of their fallen hero, Major Jasper Isaac Adaka Boro was as a result of their ignorance which they will not allow to repeat itself.

The image maker finally stressed that the Ijaws are strongly behind Tompolo as the war against him is a war against the Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta region in general.

“Instead of this witch hurting, the Federal Government should be preoccupied with looking for a way to dialogue with him and other ex-militants so as to achieve the peace that seems elusive,” he added.
