By Sandra Orokodo

The people of Ughelli, on Saturday, went into frenzy, as the honourable member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon (Rev.) Francis Ejiroghene Waive, opened his Constituency Office, three months after his election.

A press release on September 9, by SSA, New Media, Joan Imiruaye said the office is located along the ever busy Ughelli/Patani Road.

Speaking at the event, Honourable Waive appreciated God for His love and protection throughout the electioneering period and also thanked His Excellency, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, for his unalloyed support which he noted, translated into his landslide victory at the polls.

While thanking the people for entrusting him with their cherished mandate, Honourable Waive pointed out that the Constituency Office was opened to serve as an interface between him and his constituents.

He stressed that the office was not a “fulfillment of all righteousness”, but a platform that will help him offer a better deal to his people and urged them to make good use of the facility.

While promising to be available and accessible to his people, the Honourable announced the appointment of some of his aides across the three local government areas that made up his constituency.
