Mrs. Timiebi Emomotimi Guwor, the wife of the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, has extended her philanthropic efforts to the communities of Oporoza and Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu Kingdom. Over six hundred patients received the gift of free medical services on Tuesday, part of the ongoing healthcare initiative orchestrated by the Guwor Emomotimi Foundation.
The medical outreach, initiated in commemoration of Mrs. Guwor’s 40th birthday, began on Monday at Ogbe-Ijoh, the headquarters of Warri South West Local Government. The event witnessed the distinguished presence of Her Excellency, Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori, the wife of the executive Governor of Delta State, represented graciously by Mrs. Catherine Onyeme, the Deputy Governor’s wife.
Beyond lavish celebrations, Mrs. Guwor utilized her birthday as an opportunity to address the health needs of the people of Warri South West. The outreach in Gbaramatu Kingdom attended to a diverse array of health concerns, treating over a six hundred patients with the expertise of a dedicated medical team.
Engr. Ebikonde Sokoto, representing Mrs. Guwor in Gbaramatu Kingdom, affirmed that more social intervention programs are in the pipeline, with a special focus on women’s well-being.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to the organizer, emphasizing the significance of the free medical services in their lives. Additionally, complimentary drugs were distributed to further support the health and recovery of those in need.
