By Abai Francis

In preparation for the 2019 general elections, Mr. Emomotimi Guwor, the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2019 House of Assembly seat in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state, has continued his thank you visit to stakeholders of his constituency.

The flag bearer and his entourage visited the leader of Diebiri Kingdom, Chief James Orubu at the Ekurede Urhobo axis near Warri to thank him and the people of the kingdom for their support during the October 4th party’s primary.

While delivering his appreciation message to the Diebiri people, Guwor praised them for their unity to do things right and he called for the continuity of their support.

“I greet the people of Diebiri. All I can say is ‘thank you’ for the unity in standing by me to ensure I become the party’s flagbearer.

“The much bigger fight is coming, the 2019 elections. As I have come here to thank you, so too we are expecting to return after the general elections to say thank you,” he added.

While praying for the candidate Chief Orubu, said Diebiri people accept the show of appreciation visit and reaffirmed that they have only one candidate in the person of Emomotimi Guwor, who will represent them in the House of Assembly come 2019.

Also speaking during the visit, a leader in Diebiri, Hon. Ako Samuel, called on all in the constituency, both the Ijaws and Itsekiris, to rally round the PDP which is a grassroot party in Delta State.

In his words, “I want to encourage us that PDP votes are total in all the wards. Emomotimi Guwor is the candidate and we all should give him our votes in totality.

“The same call I make that we all should vote for all the candidates of the PDP, especially the principal and his deputy, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa and Barrister Kingsley Otuaro, so that we would all enjoy the dividends of democracy,” he concluded.
