Group in Delta on a mission to empower the hapless

Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation, says it is set to bring succour to widows, students and less privileged women in Okerenkoko Federated community in Gbaramatu kingdom, Delta State, through its empowerment initiative.

Founder of the Foundation, Comrade Ernest Bebenimibo, made this known in a statement in Warri on Wednesday.

He stated that the official flag-off had been scheduled for March 10 in Okerenkoko town hall, which will benefit over 200 persons.

He noted that the group will be distributing welfare materials to aged women, school bags to students and other gift items to widows of the community.

He said, “Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation is an NGO born out of love for the hapless, with the dream of showing light to those who are unfortunately pushed to the dark side of life.

“The Foundation aims to bring joy and support to widows, the less privileged women, educational support/empowerment for children and as well as youths.

“Our flag-off ceremony will hold on March 10, starting with Okerenkoko Federated Community in Gbaramatu kingdom.”

Bebenimibo said the Foundation had, over the years, embarked on frequent empowerment visitations to orphanages and aged women.
