GbaramatuVoice Nominated for Niger Delta Newspaper of the Year Award

The most widely read and leading newspaper in Niger Delta, GbaramatuVoice, has been nominated for an award in the category of the best newspaper in Niger Delta at the 8th edition of the Peace Legend Award.

Founder of the Peace Legend Award Nigeria and the Project Director, Mr. Jesse Amiri, while addressing journalists on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Warri, Delta State revealed the names of the awardees.

The event where GbaramatuVoice and other 49 Ijaw Nation’s legends including former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR; Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, Ijaw National leader; Senator Douye Diri; Governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources; High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo and many others will be honoured is scheduled to hold by 2pm with red carpet on Sunday 6th, June 2021 in Warri, Delta State.

The paper, which had won the award several times in the past has maintain credibility through impartial, accurate and comprehensive representation of the story of its readers, will be winning the award for the fifth time.

Featuring at the event are Guest Artistes and Comedians such as Gordons, Harrysong, Barrister Smooth, Mc Shakara, Orezi, Erigga, Frank D don, Mr Paul, Meschak, Emmaralo, Ebisco Sugar, Kelvin Sapp, and many more

The Publisher/CEO of Gbaramatu Voice, Jacob Abai while acknowledging the nomination letter lauds the organizers for a good job. He promised that the Newspaper which serves as a voice to the voiceless people of the South-South will not relent in reaching people no matter who or where they are, to achieve outstanding results efficiently.
