Foundation Celebrates Tompolo At 48, Shares Gifts To Community

The Esther Matthew Tonlagha Foundation (EMTF), has elicited the 48th birthday celebration of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly called Tompolo during the Easter.

The birthday which took place on April 12, saw Engr. and Mrs Esther Tonlagha, giving out hundreds of thousands of gifts to people in Oporoza Community, headquarters of Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

During the event, over 1000 persons turned out that included Children and Women. The gift items were said to worth millions of Naira. School bags, stationery, cloths and other gift items were among the distributed items.

It was not only the distribution of gift items, the foundation organized games, dance competitions for the children and teens, and the best dancers had remunerations to the tone of N30,000 and N60,000 correspondingly.

Different Izon traditional dance were showcased that did not leave the adults out of the competition as the best dancers in this category smiled home with the sum of N140,000.

It was a remarkable moment for Mr & Mrs Tonlagha as everyone in the occasioned beamed with smile. They ate and drank the surplus eatables and drinkables. The couple was well cherished for their selfless philanthropic acts. Photographs were taken amongst the participants who rented the air with thunderous ovation.
