Nomination for GbaramatuVoice Awards Closes on Saturday

The Board of Editors of GbaramatuVoice, the Niger Delta leading and most trusted newspaper, has announced that the nominations of men and women of valour for various categories of the prestigious GbaramatuaVoice 2020 Niger Delta awards would close on Saturday, June 6, 2020, ahead of its 5th anniversary Lectures/Awards, holding August 11-13th, 2020 in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Jacob Abai disclosed this in Port Harcourt on Thursday June 4, 2020, while briefing the media on developments on the 2020 edition of the GbaramatuVoice Awards.

Abai also commended Niger Deltans as well as stakeholders in the various communities for participating in the nominations process thus far.

Categories for nominations are:

(1) Niger Delta Company of The Year

(2) Niger Delta Best Governor of The Year

(3) Niger Delta Deputy Governor of the Year

(4) Niger Delta Youth of The Year

(5) Philanthropist of The Year

(6) Niger Delta Man of The Year

(7) Niger Delta Woman of the Year

(8) CEO of The Year

(9) Entrepreneur of The Year

(10) Institution of The Year 

(11) Niger Delta NGO of the Year

(12) Artiste of the Year

(13) Media Personality of the Year

(14) Niger Delta Sport Personality of the Year

(15) Niger Delta Lawmaker of the  Year

(16) Lifetime Achievement Award 

Entry verification by Nomination Evaluators would hold between June 10th and 11th while the announcement of shortlist would be made public on June 30th, 2020.
