The visit of the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Elder (Capt.) King Joseph Timiyan JP, Agbonu, Torububor 1 with his chiefs and various dignitaries from the great Ogulagha Kingdom to His Royal Majesty, the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, on Wednesday 4th November, 2020, can only be described as an epoch making event.
He arrived Oporoza, the ancestral Headquarters of Gbaramatu kingdom in the company of the Pere of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom; Pere of Oporomo Kingdom, Pere of Ogbolubiri Kingdom and Pere of Iduwini Kingdom and was received by the amiable Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom and his Palace chiefs.
As expected, the short but colourful event which drew crowds and dignitaries from within and outside Gbaramatu Kingdom provided His Royal Majesty, the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, who has become reputed in the state as well as the entire Ijaw for peace building, the opportunity to showcase his love for peaceful coexistence.
His Royal Majesty, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha kingdom used the opportunity to strengthen the long existed bonds between the two kingdoms. He further emphasized on the need for robust community collaboration. His Royal Majesty therefore called on all Royal Fathers in the state to imbibe the culture of promoting peaceful coexistence in their various kingdoms.
The Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Ogulagha Kingdom and entourage departed the Palace of the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom to Kokodiagbene community, his paternal home in Gbaramatu kingdom, to commission a duplex he built for his late father who is from Gbaramatu kingdom and a bungalow for his late uncle. He was equally received by Gbaramatu Traditional Council of Chiefs, a large crowd and entertained by various cultural troupes.
