DESOPADEC Commissioner, Bebenimibo launches ICT Center in Warri

The Commissioner representing Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in the board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), has launched an Information Communication Technology (ICT) training centre in Warri for the youth to build their capacity in the assembling and repairs of computers.

The PEB ICT Centre, is expected to provide opportunity for the youth to acquire entrepreneurial and employable skills to make them more competitive in the job market.

Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, the Managing Director/CEO, PEB ICT Centre with Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Lawmaker representing Warri South West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

In an address during the launching of the project, the lawmaker representing Warri South West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, who was the guest of honour, commended the commissioner to initiate the project.

In his address, the Managing Director and CEO of PEB ICT Centre, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, said besides offering opportunity for the youth to use the facility for e-learning, students who registered with them also stood the chance of acquiring entrepreneurial skills in ICT.
