Ekomieyefa Uduboh, KFT boss inspects construction work on Ogulagha-Youbebe-Biniebi-ama road, promises to deliver soon

The major contractor handling the 1.5-kilometre Ogulagha-Youbebe-Biniebiama road project, Chief Ekomieyefa Uduboh on Tuesday carried out an inspection tour of the project with a promise to deliver the road for use in less than two months’ time from now.

Chief Ekomieyefa Uduboh is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the renowned KFT Uduboh Nigeria Limited, the company awarded the contract by the Delta State government.

According to him, the road is 1.5 kilometre long and 6-meter width. And the contract duration is 12months.

While being conducted round the site in the company of his Site Engineer, Evuarherhe Sunday, Chief Ekomieyefa Uduboh explained that the project lifespan notwithstanding, KFT hopes to deliver the job in one month time.

In his words, “As you can see, we are making progress. The road contract awarded to us by the Senator Ifeanyi Okowa led administration is called rigid pavement 1.5km length and 6meter width. 

“We have been on this job for just one month and two weeks. And as you can see, we are done with clearing and excavation and also through with the sand filling.

“So, hopefully, the road will be delivered for use in a month time, which is in July 2018,” he explained.

On his part, Engineer, Evuarherhe Sunday supported the above assertion while praising his boss for ensuring that all that they needed for the smooth execution of the contract was put in place.

The Chairman of Ogulagha community, Capt. Solomon Prebor, in the same vein stated that this is the first road project the community is benefiting from the government.

He, therefore, expressed gratitude to the Delta state government for awarding the road project and also expressed satisfaction with the diligence in which Chief Ekomieyefa Uduboh is handling the project. 

The residents of the community were not left out in this expression of joy as Mr. Abel Tebela who spoke on behalf of the resident ’s told the GbaramatuVoice that the community appreciates the government for the contract and also to KFT Group of companies for his efficiency in the job.
