DTHA: I’ll bring democracy dividend to Warri South West - Tekedor, APC flagbearer

The flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Warri South West Constituency, Delta state, Deacon Clement Tekedor, has said that he is aspiring because he wants to bring the dividends of democracy to the people from the grassroots.

Tekedor said this today during his thanksgiving service at the APC primaries at Church of God Mission, Ugborikoko.

He stressed that he is thanking God because the victory he attained was given to him by God out of other capable aspirants, adding that he has come to return all the glory to God his maker, the author and finisher of his faith.

Tekedor said that he is contesting for the seat because he has the pain of his people at heart, stressing that he wants the people to benefit the dividends of democracy in his constituency.

“I have the pain of my people that is why I am coming. I want to make sure democracy comes down to the grassroots, let people benefit the dividends of democracy in my constituency.”

Speaking further, he said that he would go down to the nook and crannies of the constituency in order to make sure the people see him as their own in all the ten wards in the local government and also secure their support come 2023.

He stressed that the incumbent member in the House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, is his brother adding that he would support him because he has also worked and supported him before in the past.

He thanked the chairman of APC in Ijaw, Chief Michael Jonny, for his huge support before and during the primaries and every other leader who sacrificed their time and finance in making sure he came out a victor in the race.

GbaramatuVoice had reported Clement Tekedor emerged as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Warri South West Constituency, in the just concluded APC primary elections, held at Ogbe-Ijoh Grammar School, Ogbe-Ijoh, headquarters of Warri South local government council.
