The Supervisor for Ayakoromo Ward 7, Burutu Local Governement Area, in today’s LG election has been whisked away by some unknown hoodlums, who stormed the polling unit around 3pm, this afternoon.
The where about of the staff of the state electoral body, is unknown as at press time.
Efforts to reach the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Andrew Aniamaka for his reaction on development has been to no avail, as his mobile numbers are unreachable.
A young ad hoc staff attached to the DISEC, was reportedly killed earlier today at the Onitsha- Aniocha Local Government area of the state, while gunmen have also earlier in the day, burnt the Ughelli Local Government Headquarters.
