DELTA SOUTH: Timinimi’s senatorial ambition gets major boost as INC endorses him
…Promises to provide quality, effective and transparent representation
With few days to the senatorial election, the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) Senatorial Candidate, Hon. George Timinimi, has received a major boost from Ijaw nation, following his endorsement by the Ijaw National Congress (INC), Western Zone.
Timinimi, in continuation of his campaign consultations, visited the leadership and members of INC, Western zone during week in Ugboroke, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state.
The AGPA’s Senatorial hopeful, Timinimi solicited for the support of INC, Western zone and unveiled his plans for Ijaws and the entire Delta South senatorial district.
According to him, when elected as next Senator for Delta South Senstorial District come February 25th, he will initiate policies aimed at job creation, peace and security, human capital and infrastructural development across the senatorial district.
He assured the leadership and members of INC, Western zone of his determination to provide quality, effective and transparent representation and the yearnings of the people will be given utmost priority.
Timinimi urged them to come out en mass on February 25th to vote for him to represent the Delta South Senatorial district in the 10th Senate.
At the meeting, Chief Austin Enekorogha (JP), Secretary Conference of Ijaw Traditional Rulers and Elders CITRE, moved a motion for endorsement of Timinimi and was seconded by Pastor Princess Grace Ene of Ogulagha Kingdom.
The meeting was coordinated and presided over by Hon. Prince Johnny, who represented Prof. Benjamin Okaba, National President of Ijaw National Congress INC worldwide.
About 170 members of Ijaw National Congress (INC), Western zone, from 17 Ijaw clans, including 6 executives members and 30 elders attended the meeting.
