DELTA 2023: Omo-Agege floors Oborevwori, Ogboru in online poll

The Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Ovie Omo-Agege, has floored the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori of the PDP, and the APGA governorship candidate, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, in an online poll conducted by GbaramatuVoice on micro-blogging site, Twitter.

The exercise was conducted to determine the strength of each of the candidates from readers and to shore up the images and chances of the candidates in the 2023 governorship election in Delta state.

Online voters were asked “Who will likely be the next Governor of Delta State?”

The poll conducted by GbaramatuVoice, the Niger Delta leading newspaper, showed the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, cruise on a landslide win over both the PDP and the APGA candidates.

While Omo-Agege polled 61.4 percent, Oborevwori polled 32.6 percent, while Ogboru polled 5.9 percent.

Three more of the polls will be conducted before the 2023 general elections.
