Covid-19: GbaramatuVoice Food Bank Begins distributions to riverine dwellers

The GbaramatuVoice Interventionist Food Bank has started distributing first batch of food items donated as palliatives to people in the riverine area of Niger Delta by good spirited individuals and groups since the enactment of lockdown across States in the country.

The GbaramatuVoice Interventionist Food Bank had earlier called on well-meaning individuals and groups to donate food items to assist people from the riverine while they sit-at-home.

The food items, which come in food packs containing rice, beans, indomie, garri, palm oil, salt, milk and milo, were distributed to over 200 women in the riverine areas of Warri South West  Local Government Area of Delta State.

The board of the initiative said that second batch of the relief materials would be distributed to Burutu Local Government Area.
