Church Anniversary: Eschew rancor and embrace unity, Rev. Jemine tells worshippers

•The grace Christians enjoy today came from obedience – King of Zion

A Christian cleric, Rev. Dr Princewill Epistle I. O. Jemine has called on Christians to eschew rancour and embrace unity in total obedience to God’s commandment as that is the easy way to receiving blessings from God.

He made this known during the Ama-Ebimo Zion Kunukunuma Church 39th Foundational Anniversary Service which took place on Sunday 19th November, 2017 at the church premises in Kunukunuma Town, Gbaramatu Kingdom of Delta State.

Speaking on the topic; ‘He Departed’, which doubles as the theme of the anniversary celebration, Dr Epistle Jemine enjoined all Christians to show love and be obedient to the commandments of God as that is what will guarantee them blessings from the Almighty God.

Rev. Dr Princewill Epistle I. O. Jemine, who is also known as King of Zion, while giving his reflection dwelt on  Genesis 12 verse 4, and 1st John 4 verse 20  all taken from the Holy Bible.

In his words, “Abraham was obedient to God and the grace you are enjoying today came from someone who was faithful and obedient. Had it been Abraham was disobedient, God would not have blessed him”.

He further pointed out that as God’s children, we need not to fight among ourselves as that is not what we were taught and expected of us.

Going down memory lane during the service, Apostle Matthias Zion Amaye chronicled the history of the church to all present at the anniversary service.
