Following the successful confirmation by the Nigeria’s Senate, of Engr Charles Ogunmola and Hon. Gbenga Edema, as members of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), a frontline youth Ambassador in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Chief Asonja Idowu, has congratulated the two illustrious sons of Ondo state.

Engr Charles Ogunmola and Hon. Gbenga Edema were recently nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as Executive Director Project and Ondo Sate Representative respectively at the Niger Delta Development board.

Chief Asonja Idowu congratulatory message was conveyed via a statement dated Wednesday 21, 2022, personally signed by him and made available to GbaramatuVoice in Warri, Delta state.

According to Chief Asonja, the express confirmation of the duo by the nation’s red chambers confirms his earlier belief that the appointment was not only deserving but eminently desirable.

Asonja said in part; “I am not just happy but joyous. Today is one of the best moments of my life. By giving a nod to their appointment and that of the twelve others, the members of the hallowed chamber have again demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt that they understand in totality the principle of public leadership recruitment.

The clearance has also confirmed President Muhammadu Buhari as an iconic public leader who knows how to choose the right people to work.

“While I congratulate my very dear elder brothers on their express confirmation as NDDC board members, I will also use this medium to express my profound gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for this honour done to the people of Ondo state, he concluded.
