Ambassador (Mrs.) Nwachukwu Bekenawei Endurance stands as a beacon of hope for girls across the Niger Delta, tirelessly advocating for their rights and empowerment. Armed with a formidable academic arsenal—a Master’s degree in Administration and Planning coupled with a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Management/Political Science—she embodies both scholarly acumen and fervent passion in her pursuit of justice and empowerment for girls.

With an illustrious career trajectory that spans roles as diverse as Assistant Registrar at the esteemed Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) and the Executive Director of EndyBekx Initiatives for Children and Women Development (EBICWD), Ambassador Endurance brings a wealth of expertise to her advocacy. Her credentials, including full membership in the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA) and membership in the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), underscore her proficiency in navigating the complex terrain of development and social change.

Ambassador Endurance’s advocacy journey is a tapestry woven with threads of compassion, determination, and resilience. Born from a deep-seated passion and a profound sense of duty, her commitment to championing the cause of girls’ rights stems from her experiences within the region. From the creeks of the Niger Delta to the hallowed halls of academia, she has borne witness to the multifaceted challenges that impede the progress and well-being of girls in the region.

Poverty, lack of access to quality education, and entrenched cultural norms are but a few of the myriad obstacles that confront girls in the Niger Delta. Yet, in the face of adversity, Ambassador Endurance remains undeterred, channeling her efforts towards effecting meaningful change. Through her advocacy, she endeavors to dismantle systemic barriers and create an enabling environment where every girl can thrive and flourish.

Collaboration lies at the heart of Ambassador Endurance’s advocacy strategy, as she forges partnerships with a diverse array of stakeholders—from government bodies to grassroots organizations—to amplify her impact. Whether serving as Treasurer of the Delta State Civil Society Organizations Forum (DELCOF) or lending her expertise to the Sustainable Development Solution Network (SDSN) FUPRE chapter, she leverages her networks to catalyze positive change.

Ambassador Endurance’s advocacy extends beyond rhetoric to tangible, on-the-ground initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of girls. From the establishment of the National Association of Gbaramatu Female Students (NAGFS) to organizing skill acquisition programs and training sessions, she empowers girls with the tools they need to chart their own paths to success.

As we reflect on Ambassador Endurance’s indomitable spirit and unwavering resolve, let us heed her call to action and stand in solidarity with her in the fight for girls’ rights and empowerment. Together, we can transform the Niger Delta into a beacon of hope and opportunity for every girl, ensuring that they have the chance to fulfill their boundless potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
