BURIAL RITES OF TOMPOLO’S FATHER TO BEGIN SEPTEMBER 23RD

The funeral rites of late. Chief Thomas Osen Ekpemupolo, the Tunteriwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, father of Tompolo has been announced by the family.

According to a statement by Hon. George Ekpemupolo, Chairman of Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State and Mr. Thompson Gbaminido on behalf of the family.

Hon. George while commenting on the burial, stated that on Friday 23rd of September 2016 at 8.00am, th body will leave Vennell Hospital Mortuary via Miller Waterside to Kurutie town, Gbaramatu Kingdom, in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State and at 6. 00Pm there will be a Social wake keep till down.

Noting that on Saturday 24th September 2016 by 8.00Am, the body will be leaving to his hometown Okerenkoko, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area. At 9.00am Lying in state, 12.Noon-5Pm cultural dance /display will be taking place and by 6.00Pm there will also be a high powered traditional /Social wake keep till down.

It was further learnt that on Sunday 25th September 2016 at 8.00am there will be Interment and the burial ceremony will be concluded with a thanksgiving service at about .

He passed on at the age of 84 on September 7th 2016.

Late. Chief Thomas Osen Ekpemupolo until his death survived by four widows, 31 Children, 45 grand Children, 11 great grand Children.
